Bundle of joy

Howdy ppls,
This weekend has started with rain and wild winds.  Beaches are closed, the surf too mad even for the keen surfer and homes are once again flooded up and down the east coast of Australia.  Once again thoughts and prayer for everyone in the crazy weather path.  Keep safe and don't do anything stupid.
I was asked to make a baby girl card for a friend and this is the end result.

Thank U

Hi everyone,
It's been incredible hot here.  We're luckier then the States down south with not too many bush fires destroying homes and lives.  Thoughts and prayers to everyone in that situation.  The temp the last couple of weeks have been in the 30's making the days too hot to do anything exciting.  Actually I've been making Mother's Day cards for a group of ladies who organise cards to be sent to our troops serving overseas so they have something to send home for special occasions.

Here's a card that I done that can go into the challenge over at http://mojomonday.blogspot.com.au/

Shades of Red

Hi everyone,
4 posts in 2 days, I'm on a roll.  Here's a sweet Gorguss Stamp I've coloured with Copic markers, used Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the background and SU marker for the splatter effect.  A SU punch and sentiment was used as well.  Card stock from SU and Bazzill and some purple brads.  Lastly Spellbinders Enhanceabilities - Pop ups to give the extra embellishment.  Entering her into the challenge over on

A colourful Christmas

Not sure if I've lost the plot this year with the Chrissy cards.  I got hold of Dylusions Ink sprays and went to town with the colours.  I use Tim Holtz stamps to stamp the images in a random pattern and used the paper as a background to the various cards I've made.  Not all cards are the same I must admit, so it depends on the mood I was in when I made them.

A hot hot Christmas

Hi everyone,
Would you believe summer is finally here and we're a good 30 degrees today. Thank goodness it's a dry heat and not a steamy one.  Seeing pics of friends over in Europe amongst the snow is hard to fathom...  The doggie is enjoying the cool tiles atm and is not doing much to guard the house.  :) who  can really blame her.
Yes I have been really slack in the challenges BUT in my defense I have been super busy with family and life is going at a hundred miles a minute.
I've acquired some more Cricut cartridges and putting them to good use.
Thank goodness I never sold my original Cricut cause my Expression is NOT READING my lastest cartridges.  Can I ask if anyone else has this problem????
Don't mind the look of how this card has turned out. So I'm entering it over at

Rose bouquet

Hi everyone
Yes it's been awhile since I've posted any pics or entered any challenges.  Like is a run away train with the end of the year looming over us.  I've finished painting a commissioned portrait for a friend and trying to get my mojo making Chrissy cards.

I've been asked to make a wedding card for someone and here's the final product.  I've made the roses from the ribbons, pearl ribbon, Cricut cartridges and Spellbinders. Bling was added to give the roses a little bit of a sparkle and some simmer powder was used on the leaves.  I wanted it to have a bouquet feel to it with dimensions.

Dream

G'day,
Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the States.  I hope everyone survived  Sandy and stayed safe.  This week has been all over the place.  Trying to get back to exercising and eating healthy again.  Very hard with Christmas around the corner.  The shops have been going all out with the Chrissy decorations and foods that goes with the whole festive season.
Back to this card that's taken me a few days to upload due to me doing something stupid with my phone and now it takes forever to email the home account with the pics I take.

We had a Stitches and Craft Show a  couple of weekends ago.  I came across Graphic 45 stamps (Winter Wonderland), Copic and Spic pens to colour the image, Spellbinders Shapeabilities Lattice Accents, bling, SU punches and cardstock, My Mind's Eye - Summer Song and a flower die to finish off the card.
I'll be entering her over at
