More Holiday Spirit

Howdy
Managed to make another card for the challenge over at http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com.au/  Challenge #95 - More Holiday Spirit

This card was real simple to make.  I used a Christmas tree ornament, SU - bottom die, cardstock; embossing folder, ribbon from the stash and Kaiser rub on sentiment.

Hello there!

Merry belated Christmas everyone
Hope Santa was good to everyone this year.  Can you believe just another 2 days and we're onto a Brand New Year...
It's been a few weeks since I've entered new challenges, so here's one I've quickly put together for the challenge over at http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.au/

Shades of Red

Hi everyone,
4 posts in 2 days, I'm on a roll.  Here's a sweet Gorguss Stamp I've coloured with Copic markers, used Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the background and SU marker for the splatter effect.  A SU punch and sentiment was used as well.  Card stock from SU and Bazzill and some purple brads.  Lastly Spellbinders Enhanceabilities - Pop ups to give the extra embellishment.  Entering her into the challenge over on

A colourful Christmas

Not sure if I've lost the plot this year with the Chrissy cards.  I got hold of Dylusions Ink sprays and went to town with the colours.  I use Tim Holtz stamps to stamp the images in a random pattern and used the paper as a background to the various cards I've made.  Not all cards are the same I must admit, so it depends on the mood I was in when I made them.

A hot hot Christmas

Hi everyone,
Would you believe summer is finally here and we're a good 30 degrees today. Thank goodness it's a dry heat and not a steamy one.  Seeing pics of friends over in Europe amongst the snow is hard to fathom...  The doggie is enjoying the cool tiles atm and is not doing much to guard the house.  :) who  can really blame her.
Yes I have been really slack in the challenges BUT in my defense I have been super busy with family and life is going at a hundred miles a minute.
I've acquired some more Cricut cartridges and putting them to good use.
Thank goodness I never sold my original Cricut cause my Expression is NOT READING my lastest cartridges.  Can I ask if anyone else has this problem????
Don't mind the look of how this card has turned out. So I'm entering it over at

Rose bouquet

Hi everyone
Yes it's been awhile since I've posted any pics or entered any challenges.  Like is a run away train with the end of the year looming over us.  I've finished painting a commissioned portrait for a friend and trying to get my mojo making Chrissy cards.

I've been asked to make a wedding card for someone and here's the final product.  I've made the roses from the ribbons, pearl ribbon, Cricut cartridges and Spellbinders. Bling was added to give the roses a little bit of a sparkle and some simmer powder was used on the leaves.  I wanted it to have a bouquet feel to it with dimensions.
