Happy 4

Radahhhh, It's only Monday and a great start to getting those challenges going.
This one is going into the challenges on

I made this background using water colour paper at the craft camp.  Lol not that I really did much for the couple of days except muck around with different ways to use my stash of goodies.
I coloured a flower stamp using watercolour crayons and then spritz the stamp before stamping the paper.
I used the  paper to soak up the excess water that was on my craft mat.  That's where the blurred images come into effect.  I used Brilliance inks to colour the half circle doily.  I love how this card turned out.

Oh Baby

Hiya one n' all,

The rain has finally fallen after many days of dry weather.  I had a most excellent weekend away with a group of ladies crafting at a retreat where all our delicious meals were prepared for us.  There was enough for seconds if you so desired.  :D  Thank goodness I only go to camp once a year, cause my scales always say one at a time please when I come home and this is only for the weekend too.  Did I create a lot cards,   :D sadly no, but I did have a VERY good time chatting, and helping the ladies with how to use varies tools and what you could do with them.  So consultation fees will be in the mail.  So the boot full of the crafting stuff was mainly used by everyone but me.

So back to the card at large.  I got to to use all the other stuff the ladies brought with me so wasn't too bad exchange in the end.  I embossed a whole heap of pearl cardstock with clouds, die cut flip cards, die cut butterflies and hearts.

I'll be entering this card into the challenges

Happy

Happy Monday everyone,
Can you believe we're already in the month of September and the school term is about to end in 2 weeks.
Days are just glorious with the temp in the mid 20s and higher.
I apologise for not putting regular posts up lately.  Work has been full on and I've been trying to do samples for the up and coming October Stitches and Craft Show here in Brisbane.  I've also made name cards for the Toowoomba Flower Carnival.
I've folded a small paper doiley in half, ink the edges of the flower, cover white card stock with washi tapes and the die cut the word happy out.
I'll be entering this card into the challenge over on

Get Well 2

Hiya all
My has time flown by.  It's the end of August and September is just around the corner knocking.  Days have definitely gotten warmer.  We've had high 20s and even got to 30 degrees, considering it's only the start of Spring.  My lovely friend Leah has been showing me these new apps on the phones where you can do photo collages.   So hopefully I'll be able to give you a better view of the cards I'll make in the future.
So it's been entered in the the challenge on

Vintage B'day

G'day
The last days of winter is coming to an end.  This morning has started out beautifully.  Sunny days and a light breeze in the air.  Decided not to go to Crossfit this morning, doing a workout at home which included sit ups, push ups, ring pull ups and free squats - 100 of each for time.  Things we do for pain.
Anyways back to what I'm suppose to be doing here, is to tell you about the card I've made for the challenge over on http://seizethebirthday.blogspot.com.au/2013/08/seize-birthday.html

I've used the negative pieces from Memory Box happy and put glitter to make the words out.  The top hat is from Sizzix - Top Hats and Moustaches, Memory Box - Vintage Bicycle.  Washi tape, SU - ribbon, and cardstock.

LOve

Well it's Friday.
I've been working at the Brisbane Ekka Show - for those of you that don't know.  It's where the city meet the country.  We have rural live stock shows, rides, food tastings, exhibitions, show bags and fireworks when at the end of the nite.  So apologise for the slackness of the blog of late.  Here's a card requested for a wedding.  What not to do,  is the question we have to ask.

Anyway here is the finally result and its going into the challenge on

Christmas wishes

Happy Friday everyone,
Today was a beautiful winter's day with it being a little chilli to start off.  I've had the week off from exercising, them archillies heels ain't what they use to be and the left shoulder is still not 100%, but there's no time like the present to get back into it.  I was able to do the work out which was great.
Anyway back to this Gorguss girl I coloured with Copic pens.   Use Washi tape, Memory Box - Cosmo Border die, Tim Holtz stamp and SU cardstock, ds paper (retired) to put this card together.  Lastly I used Spica clear pen and Sakura gel metalic pen to highlight some of the picture.
I'm gonna enter this card into the challenges at

Best friends

bonjour everyone,
It's Monday and the is nearly over or rather the sun had gone to bed.  The day has been freezing with a real chilly factor.  I know it's not single digits and below freezing but for Sunny Queensland it was cold.  I had a remedial massage this morning and yes I cried mercy when my calf was worked on.
So on to this cute card I put together.  I've made a little ribbon for her hair, but the light wasn't the best to show you how well it turned out.  The bunny had  sparkly pen to give the tail a zing.

Christmas dolly

Hi one and all,
It's already Wednesday and we're half way through July.  Time to start on those Christmas cards.  Here's one I've coloured with Copic pens, highlighted it with Liquid Pearls and and Sakura glitter pens. Used Washi tapes from http://thepapercrafthub.com.au/ , Emilia has hundreds of these tapes if you've just discovered them for a very good price.
This card is going into the challenge over on http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com.au/2013/07/monday-challenge-104-christmas-in-july.html
