Pawsitively awesome

I brought some new water colour pencils and decided to colour up this cutie and her dog.  As you know by now I've never stuck to conventional colours.  With all these new stamp and die sets, it makes it easy to leave out the fussy cutting.  I love it.

She's going into the challenge on http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com.au/  #223 Fun with Puns

Happy Days

Howdy wonderful peoples,

I apologize for not getting onto my challenges.  The weeks are flying by real quick and before I know it, I've missed the deadline for them.  I'm finding that I've got some many ideas floating around and not coming out like I want them to whether its colour, theme or just too hard box.

Here's my take on the challenge on http://justusgirlschallenge.blogspot.com.au/

Paper Tray dies - Sunrise
Memory Box dies - happy, hot air ballon, Wide open spaces studio,
IO dies - birds
Little B dies -  Hot air ballon
Ranger's Alteration alph dies

I die cut the word "happy" 3 times and glued them on top of each other to give some height.  Chalked the sunrise to give it some colour.

Hugs

Hi everyone,
The weather has turned from Sunny and beautiful to rainy and cool the last couple of days.  Here's a card that's come together better then what I expected.  I wasn't too sure about putting the die onto such a stark backgound, but I love how the colours in the back compliments it perfectly. Plane awesome

Happy Friday everyone,
I discovered the Taylored Expression dies with the cutest stamps that go with them.  The best thing about them are, you buy them together in the one package.  I used Tim Holtz Distress markers to colour them quickly. SU bottons for the embellishment, Elizabeth Craft dies from the tree set to make the clouds, Sizzix tag die from the "Be thankful" and a corner rounder for the tab.

Hey hey hey,
Hope your all doing wonderfully in blog land.  I've been busy with card creation here, just haven't been able to post pics.  Well I must admit I'm not sure about the fascination of feathers but have scummed to buying a set or 2 to have a play with.  So for my 1st of many feathered creations I think it's turned out beautifully.  They meet the requirement of the challenges I'm entering

XOX

Heya,
The week has started off with a  beautiful sunny day but a little on the cool side.  Maybe I should get out of my shorts and put some socks on.  Even after exercising the chill from sweaty clothes doesn't help.  Ohhh well no rest for the wicked.
I've used a stencil to embossing my main background and then used Colorbox chalk, SU markers to colour in the flowers.  A velvet ribbon, some bling, glitter pens to highlight the flowers.  Taylored Expressions tall and skinny alphabets for the saying.  This card is going into the challenge on

Up n away

MOrning Everyone
It's been a crazy last couple of weeks working at the craft show, cooking and trying to keep up with exercise as well.  Days have been blurring into each other.  Working at the annual Scrapbook and Papercraft show was just full on.  Only sad part is now I don't get to spend a whole day wondering around the stalls browsing the stands and really taking all the lovely displays.  It's literally hr before opening time if that rushing around making sure you get a lookie at everything.  I did manage to get the things I wanted.
I've rediscoved my embossing folders and come up with new ideas to use my washi tapes as well.  This simple card will do at the challenge on

Dream

Morning one and all,
This weekend has been lots of viewing on the Crossfit reginonal finals all over the world watching all these super fit men and women do their workouts.

Well this card came together nicely and fits into a few on the challenges atm.  We've been having to go to the hardware storeBunnings to get stuff for painting the house and I've rediscover paint samples.  Lol so you can guess what happened.  They have a million colours to choose from and I've come across some beautiful metalic paint sample as well.  So this card has some of the samples used for die cuts. Have to admit putting this card was just a fluke when I had the various die cuts lying around on the craft table. going into

Bonjour

Hi everyone,
On the weekend I got to do a class doing this lovely shadow box.  We were lucky to have the owner herself Sophie teach the class.  We got to use the beautiful die cuts from her company called Scrapmats.  It was a lovely hr of just sitting there and putting the box together making it more our own.  The word Paris and Eiffel Tower is hidden behind the mannequin.  So this is going into the challenge on

Dance

I'm on a roll...
Atm my poor brain is obessed with dies and I love cutting the shapes out.  My poor poor cricut is not being put to good use.  Some times it's just so easy to get the Cuttlebug and cut the shapes out.  Not sure about the colours on this card.  She'll be going into the challenge on

Happy 4

Radahhhh, It's only Monday and a great start to getting those challenges going.
This one is going into the challenges on

I made this background using water colour paper at the craft camp.  Lol not that I really did much for the couple of days except muck around with different ways to use my stash of goodies.
I coloured a flower stamp using watercolour crayons and then spritz the stamp before stamping the paper.
I used the  paper to soak up the excess water that was on my craft mat.  That's where the blurred images come into effect.  I used Brilliance inks to colour the half circle doily.  I love how this card turned out.

Best friends

bonjour everyone,
It's Monday and the is nearly over or rather the sun had gone to bed.  The day has been freezing with a real chilly factor.  I know it's not single digits and below freezing but for Sunny Queensland it was cold.  I had a remedial massage this morning and yes I cried mercy when my calf was worked on.
So on to this cute card I put together.  I've made a little ribbon for her hair, but the light wasn't the best to show you how well it turned out.  The bunny had  sparkly pen to give the tail a zing.

sorry

Well, the afternoon hasn't gotten any warmer.  I cooked my scones a little too long so their a little on the crispy side still edible though.  Had a remedial massage this morning and I think the body's finally told the brain that it's now in pain from all that.  Fingers crossed I'll be okay to start exercising tomorrow again.

Heya all,
Been AWOL holidaying in Thailand for the last couple of weeks with the family.  It was suppose to be their rainy season, but with luck on our side we had beautiful weather up until the last day.  Lots of seafood, massages, shopping and generally having a good time was had by one and all.
Now back to reality - school, exercise and work.
