Thinking of you 3

Good Morning all,
It's been a few weeks since my last post.  Crazy with family and life and trying to keep up with all family members needs and wants.  Managed to make this card with just the right piece of paper in the stash.  The off white background was recycled paper I maded many years ago.  Might have to get the old equipment out again and have another go.    It's going into the challenge

Poppies

Good morning beautiful people,
I can't believe I'm actually up getting ready to go to do a wod on a long weekend.  Must be short a few sausages in the barbie.  So hopeful I get this card into a few challenges this morning since the phone took so long to send to the home comp.  ANZAC is just around the corner and I had this wonderful die.  I hope this fits into the requirements needed on Freshly Made???  Opps another boo boo I think, just realized that Stuck on Sketches might want a machine die cut, I'm sure they'll let me know.
Its going into the challenges on

Just realised I had already made a card for a challenge I thought I had entered.

Well, the afternoon hasn't gotten any warmer.  I cooked my scones a little too long so their a little on the crispy side still edible though.  Had a remedial massage this morning and I think the body's finally told the brain that it's now in pain from all that.  Fingers crossed I'll be okay to start exercising tomorrow again.
An easy card that came together that's going into the challenge at http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com.au/

Please Know

Goodness gracious,
Someone turned down the temp today...  Winter is def around the corner and I think we hit single digits this morning...  Here's one I've done the for challenge at http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com.au/
cfc101
I've used some different techniques on this card.  I coloured a SU stamp image using Tim Holtz Distress markers, used a Versa Mark pen to colour the image so I could use Clear embossing powder to give the image a little shine.  The cardstock is from SU, the saying was using Memento Ink, glitter for the tops of the flowers.   Gave the sides a little stitched look.  I used Kaiser Craft - Lilac Avenue Collection.

Fall leaves

Howdy dowdy,
I remember going to our nation's capital a cpl of years ago and seeing autumn in all it's glorious colours.  We were there for a SU convention where I got to meet old friends and make a few new ones as well.  Sadly here in sunny Queensland we don't really have a autumn season and winter is non existent.  The photo in my main heading was taken by me when we were down there.  I've always had this facination with holly leaves - must be cause of the leaf shapes and colours.  Here's a card I've made that suits a few challenges out there atm.

Thinking of U

Hiya,
I can't believe how cold it is,  lol 10 degrees last nite and the wheat bags in the microwave to warm the beds up.  The winds down south has caused havoc on our coastlines...

I used Cricut Gypsy Wanderings, SU cardstock, stamp and ink, paper piercing kit and punch, and some very old paper from the stack.  Glimmer pen was used on the flower ( now I'm not sure if I should of left it as the original red)
