Pawsitively awesome

I brought some new water colour pencils and decided to colour up this cutie and her dog.  As you know by now I've never stuck to conventional colours.  With all these new stamp and die sets, it makes it easy to leave out the fussy cutting.  I love it.

Thinking of You

Ello beautiful people,
Been MIA with so much happening with the family.  I've managed to get a stall at a Sunday market.  The first time was not so good.  The second time round I managed to sell some cards and an old stamp set. Yeahyaaa.  My gf and I thought it would be nice to try and get to the markets once a month and see how we go.
Here's a card I've made that will go nicely into the challenge

I've used washi for my border, a die from Sizzix Ornate Labels, IO leafy branch and the tiny rolled flowers. SU markers was used for the embossed parts of the tag.  Some gold alphabet stickers to spell out mum.

Mother's Day 4

Hi everyone,
The last couple of days have seen massive rain and floodings on the roads.  Lots of detouring to get to your chosen destination.  I think this cards come out better then what I hoped for.  I used a grey bazzill, Spellbinder's Bloom Four using paint sample cards, candi brads and the Bee was a Fancy that die.  A variety of washi tapes for the back ground.

4 Mother 2

Good arvo ppl,
Hope your all having an awesome week.  The weather has been pretty good this week with only a couple of days with super high humidity. The rain has certainly brought the temperature down which is a blessing.   I'm either super on time for my challenges or just a day late. Still trying to build up my Mother's day cards to send to the troops.
Here's a very simple one made with Spellbinders Vines of Passion die, I just used the insert so the heart wasn't cut out.  SU corner and heart punch with the sentiment.  Washi tape, bow coloured with Brilliance ink and some sequins to finish it off.

B'day Digger

Hey everyone,
Hope we get to see rain soon.  It's just redonculous with this heatwave.  I've stamped this cute TE digger with Momento ink and coloured it with SU water colour crayons using the Tim Holtz fine paint brush.  The background is a Couture Creations embossing folder and some washi tape for the embellishment.  Used a little glitter gelly pen for the rim of the wheels and the window of the digger too.

Just 4 mum

Happy Saturday everyone
Boy is it a stinker, the temperature is high 30s and the humidity is up there as well.  Pretty happy with the outcome of this card.  Some days keeping it simple taxes the brains more I reckon.

I've used a SU 5 petal punch and a Fancy That rolled rose die for the flower, pre-cut leaves with a washi tape for the ribbon.  A SU sentiment with me using a corner rounder and a SU heart punch.

Springtime

Hi everyone,
Long time no see.  Life is just running away with end of the year family stuff, work and exercise.  I've still been playing with all my lovely goodies, just haven't had a chance to do the challenges on my to do list.  So hopefully I'll be able to get some more cards done before the end of the year.

Here's a card done with a new Memory Box die I got from the last craft show.  I've now realised to make it easier you need the solid background die, so much easier then to fill in the little gaps.  Washi tape used as ribbon and rubon sentiment.

Bike this way

G'day
Spent a lovey arvo at my parents helping them in the garden loosening up the soil for planting.  Carrying a buckets of rain water to all the plants and having them nearby so they don't have to do too much heavy lifting.  Got some new Memory Box Stencils after seeing all those wonder cards on Pinterest.  So here's my take on it.  Had some arrow washi tape which I paired up with a Memory Box bike.  Sizzix die was used to cut out a SU saying.  Memory Box stencil and Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the background.  Might just make the challenge on

Up n away

MOrning Everyone
It's been a crazy last couple of weeks working at the craft show, cooking and trying to keep up with exercise as well.  Days have been blurring into each other.  Working at the annual Scrapbook and Papercraft show was just full on.  Only sad part is now I don't get to spend a whole day wondering around the stalls browsing the stands and really taking all the lovely displays.  It's literally hr before opening time if that rushing around making sure you get a lookie at everything.  I did manage to get the things I wanted.
I've rediscoved my embossing folders and come up with new ideas to use my washi tapes as well.  This simple card will do at the challenge on

Excavator B'day

Good morning one and all,
I think it's a start to a beautiful day.  The weather temp outside is mild and cool.  The sun is slowly peaking out from the clouds.  Been up before the birds this morning, don't ask me why.  So just sitting here watching the Crossfit finals happening in the US.  Some super fit and strong ppl.
Here's one card nearly made from purely paint samples I've collected.  They do have a lovely glossy finish to it.  Used some shimmer power and on the lettering. Going into the challenges

Teddy

Hi di ho neighbours,
Can you believe it's already Wednesday.  What happen to the days.  Have to say we still have warm sunny days which is perfect.  Here's a card I've done trying out Elizabeth Craft silky micro glitter and normal glitter on the bear and the background.  I use Memory Box Chesapeake die for some embellishment and some washi tape as well.  I coloured his nose and muzzle with copic pens.  I should mention how I've started using paint sample cards for this card.  The range of colours is humangous.

So it's going to be entered into the challenge on

Shades of Grey

Howdy everyone,
It's been a week or two again I know.  Family, exercise and work has once again been full on.  My poor craft table is being neglected with all the the lovely new dies I've recently acquired.  Better put them to good use.  So here is one of many I hope :).  Here's one I've put together this early morning due to a possum outside the bedroom window making a ruckus like there was no tomorrow.
So this card is going into the challenge over on
