Happy Days

Howdy wonderful peoples,

I apologize for not getting onto my challenges.  The weeks are flying by real quick and before I know it, I've missed the deadline for them.  I'm finding that I've got some many ideas floating around and not coming out like I want them to whether its colour, theme or just too hard box.

I die cut the word "happy" 3 times and glued them on top of each other to give some height.  Chalked the sunrise to give it some colour.

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY

Well Mother Nature has certainly done us proud.  It's hot, humid and the sun is out in full force.  Why and I sitting out in the scorching hot room while the family pooch is chillaxing in the air con.  Mad I tell myself.  Oh to see all the wonderful new stuff from CHA 2015, I've started my wishlist.!!!

I've used washi for my border, a die from Sizzix Ornate Labels, IO leafy branch and the tiny rolled flowers. SU markers was used for the embossed parts of the tag.  Some gold alphabet stickers to spell out mum.

U Rock Mum

Greetings one and all,
I'm still trying to keep with the theme of Mother's Day cards to be sent to our troops.  A little bit different for this card.  I used Memory Box stencil with some texture paste for the background, A MFT Scallop border die and UROCK.  Marianne dies for the floral arrangement, IO butterfly, SU small butterfly, Dylusion inks, Versa mark chalk inks, and finally Fancy That alphabet dies.

Bunch of flowers

Hello everyone,
Another beautiful steamy day here in Brisbane.  The humidity is through the roof.  I was sweating before I even started my exercise this morning at 9.30.  Thank goodness you get so focused on lifting weights that you forget about the heat and humidity.

Here's a card I put together last night using Fancy that die, Penny Black - thank you die, MFT rolled flowers, Little B leaf die, IO butterflies, Spellbinders Labels 42 Decorative Accents and circle die.  Not sure on the sprigs and tiny leaves.  I brought them precut.  A little Wink of Stella on the sentiments and butterflies.

Good morning lovlies
Another steamy day happening here.  Where does the time go, family, work, exercise and other little jobs that need doing.  Couple more weeks before the start of a new school year.  Thank goodness my kids are now old enough to get their own school supplies and eeeek working.  Can we all remember when it was just so exciting getting new supplies, covering the books and marking everything.  Now it's mum, it's okay I can get the stuff myself.  :( but but but. No it's okay mum.

Here's another card I've made for Mother's day.  Just some simple stenciling in the background, netting lace ribbon for texture, a memory box flower die which I cut out twice for the stems and flowers, a IO butterfly and finally SU stamp for the sentiment.

Hey hey hey,
Hope your all doing wonderfully in blog land.  I've been busy with card creation here, just haven't been able to post pics.  Well I must admit I'm not sure about the fascination of feathers but have scummed to buying a set or 2 to have a play with.  So for my 1st of many feathered creations I think it's turned out beautifully.  They meet the requirement of the challenges I'm entering
