Happy Easter Friday...  It's been a mad week with work, cooking, cooking and more cooking.  You name it I got to cook it.  Now this card I pictured in my head before it went down on paper. It fits quite a few challenges this week.  I got to use some of my new dies and embossing folder.  Gotta admit I like all the different textures and colours.

Hey one and all
The start of a new week and it's already filled with things to do...
The weekend gone was the Stitches and Craft Show in Brisbane.  Spent a lovely day wondering around the show looking at all the wonderful new things and catching up with people I don't get to see often.  So for my goodie bag I got a whole lot of new dies from Sizzix and Fancy that.  Now to put them to good use.
Been a while since I did much colouring with my Copic pens so here's my effort.

Radahhh,  some days making cards is easy peasy, like today.  Amazing what one has in various boxes of diecuts, and scrap paper one collects (hoards).  Lol I use to ask hubby if he really needed to buy a certain thing and his reply was I could always use photocopy paper instead.

Hello Kitty card

For an autumn afternoon, it's a beauty.  The air is warm and we're still sitting around in shorts and singlets.
This poor kitty had a tie dye mishap with the inks when she was colouring her shirt.  I cut the Kitty shape large enough to make it into a card shape.  The challenge over at

Oh Baby

Howdy Doody,
Another week has flown by.  The days have been fantastic after all the rain we've had for the last couple of weeks.  I managed to get back to climbing steps down at the local bush area - 132 uneven steps.  I managed to do 10 sets - now I reckon I've got a couple of screws loose somewhere.  Got to admit it was great to finish at the end and I'm glad I didn't put it off with some excuse or another.

Baby boy

Hi everyone,
Long time no see.  Family life and work has been non stop.  I was invited to my niece's baby shower on the weekend.  I meant to buy something and forgot about it till I got home.  So a mad rush and panic I went through the stash and found a mini project I could decorate for her to put some baby pics in when she has the little one.  So not too bad for a night's work.  Here's the front of the album.  I wanted something non-traditional, she's a lover of owls so I thought I'd put an owl on the cover used glimmer mist and a stamp to give the owl some lovely colours.

Good arvo to one n all,
The wind has died down and the rain is moving south.  Some parts of Brisbane is flooded once again and homes and business once again damaged.  We've been very fortunate to miss all that.

Bundle of joy

Howdy ppls,
This weekend has started with rain and wild winds.  Beaches are closed, the surf too mad even for the keen surfer and homes are once again flooded up and down the east coast of Australia.  Once again thoughts and prayer for everyone in the crazy weather path.  Keep safe and don't do anything stupid.
