Some very special pens arrived for me to play with...  Now to put them to put them to good use..

Homemade Ceasar Salad

Cos lettuce

Bacon (cooked under grill) roughly chopped

Chopped Crutons  (sourdough bread sliced and garlic butter pan fried)  

Cucumber, roma tomatoes and red onion sliced

Boiled egg

Ceasar dressing

Happy Mother's day card

This A4 size card was made for a good friend who wanted a special card for his mum on Mother's  Day this Sunday.
  I used many different techniques, embossing, a little decoupage, water colouring, dimensional glue was use to name a few.
I use the Cricut  Blackletter, Sentimentals, Elegant Cakes to cut out the frame, stem of the flowers and the initials.  SU stamps and Autumn Leaves stamps were also use.
Glimmer mist was used to cover the card, intials and some of the flowers. Fine glitter,  bling and pearls to highlight certain bits.  Brads and ribbon was also used.
 Inside the card I used the Cricut Blackletter cartridge to cut out Happy Mother's Day.
Found a lovely poem to finish the card off.

Crepes with choc sauce

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup p. flour
1/3 cup s.r. flour
splash of oil
1 Tbsp sugar
pinch salt
1 egg

Beat until smooth,  using soup ladle to pour batter into crepe pan.  Swirl around until mixture covers most of the pan and let it slowly cook. Flip when the batter looks dry and cook for another minute.

Choc Sauce

I used   100 - 150 gm Belegium Milk  Chocolate and slowly melted it in a double boiler and added 1/2 fresh whipping cream at the end. 

Using the Cricut Cindy Loo and the Gypsy Font cartridges to create this quick simple card.
Glimmer mist was used on the SU lavendar c/d.

This cute card was made with a stamp set my lovely daughter got for Chrissy.  Pattern paper from SU.  Watercolour pencils were used and blended with a Blender pen.  I stamped and used fine glitter on the cupcake, paw and muzzle  and used 3d adhesive for the cupcake.  The birthday tag had a little glimmer mist sprayed on it and a lovely glitter brad to finish it off. 

Using the Cricut  Sweethearts and Cindyloo cartridge, with DCWV paper and some glimmer mist on the black shadow.   Congrats wording from SU.  The b/g  was some old 7gypsies paper I found in my million paper stash. 

Using the beautiful cardstock papers from DCWV - Garden Party, SU old olive cardstock and the Cricut Nursery Rhymes cartridge.  Glitter pens was used to highlight some of the shadow.

Today we took the family to a ALL YOU CAN EAT Chocolate Buffet for lunch!!!!!

My lovely family came up with some lovely creations...  Here are some of the things we got to chose from.  Decisions, decisions, decisions. 

 There were vats of hot melted, milk, dark and carmel sauce you could cover ur fruit, cakes, marshmellows in, a chocolate fountain as well.  CHOCOLATE GALORE....   mmmmmmm

It's certainly something everyone has to do once...  LOL we had to do a drive throu the golden archers for some hot french fries to counter act the SUGAR intake we had..

Just personalised a little sketch book using Cricut Storybook and Cindyloo cartridges.  A bow bling.

Using the negative of the shoe cut from the Cricut Summer in Paris cart, papers are DCVW ,SU old olive c/s and stamp.  A cpl of brads to round off the card.

Took this pic with the phone, so apologize for the bad lighting.  This card had beautiful paper from DCWV - Garden Party stack.  The shoe was from the Summer in Paris Cricut cart and the wording from Storybook Cricut cart.  Teal lace ribbon, embossed cream bk/gd using fiskars templates.  Using old olive c/s from SU.

Crayon and watercolour pencil was used.

Being doing a few sketches the last cpl of days...  Lead and watercolour pencils were used.
