Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a good day.  I'm just shatted from exercising and getting some physio work done today.
Another one for the Chrissy pile.  Yesterday I went to a friend's home for the famous Melborne Cup horse race.  We all had a wonderful time and the food prepared by everyone was so yummy.  I think I ate too much again, but I had a very good time.

Reindeer Xmas

Hi everyone,
It's Tuesday and your wondering why I mentioned this.  Well it's Melbourne Cup - one of the most watch horse race in Australia.  A time for folks to don on their finery and look classy for the day, well that's a matter of opinion I suppose.  Me, well I suppose I'll try and look pretty by not wearing my norm shorts n t-shirt and get into a dress.  I'm off to a friends place for BYO plate where we'll get to have an enjoyable lunch and each other's company.

Fall b'day

Hi everyone,
Can you believe it's now the end of October and only 5 more weeks till the end of the school year.  I think my muse went walkabout for a few days.  Trying to get back to regular exercising and family after working str8 last week has been painful.  Literally since the body is trying to get use to being hammered again.  My legs still recovering from last Friday's workout...

Evening all,

Wall of washi tapes

Hi everyone,
I'm back  on line.  Yayyyyyyy.  Last week I got to work at the Stitches and Craft show for the whole 5 days including the set up the day before.  One doesn't realise how much work goes into displaying all those beautiful washi tapes.  Just colour co-ordinating them gets your brain working overtime, then there's the tags that goes with the tape to make it easy to see how beautiful the tape is.
I got to work with the wonderful girls Emilia and Beverley.

Computer Problems

Hi everyone,

Have been having trouble up-loading my photos of the cards I've made for the different challenges I enjoy entering.  Bahumbug  :(    I've been reduce to trying to do stuff with my little laptop.  The main computer has finally decided to be so rude and die on us.

So please excuse me while I try and fix this stupid problem.

Hello one and all
It's Monday and a new start to the week.  I had an excellent start to the day.  Went to Crossfit and had a very good workout.  Will have to show you all what I did to my wrist straps to personalise them.  Here's a simple thank you card that I put together that's going into the challenge on

The image was from SU using Momento ink to stamp the image,  water colour crayons, blender pen to blend the colours and a little bit of Sakura glitter pen to highlight the daisies.  I used water colour cardstock, net lacing ribbon for a little embellishment.  A SU punch for the window, free handed the "thank you".  The grass border was done free handed as well.

Hi everyone,
It's Sunday and the sun is shining.  Went out to lunch today and I think I better give dinner a miss.  Too much yummy food.  I've stamped a SU image using Momento ink and used water colour crayons and a blender pen.  I also used the blender pen and feathered it with the SU markers to colour as well.  Spellbinders Circle and Scalloped nestabilities were used.  SU punches, alhapbet was from Fancy That dies.

Fall colours

Hi all,
Now I had to stamp quite a few different stamps to workout what I wanted to do with image.
I came across a Tim Holtz stamp that I thought would fit into a few of the challenges running this week.
I stamp the back ground with script and used distress inks to colour in the image.  Btw I stamped the image and used white embossing powder to enhance the image.  Fancy That die leaves, and the butterflies were from SU.   A bit of washi tape to finish off the card

Ello ladies and gents,
It's been an awesome weekend starting last Friday night.  I got to go up to Toowoomba and work at the Carnival of Flowers again.  Will post some pics of the beautiful gardens on display.  The Wine and Music show had great atmosphere and there was so much people enjoying the live music.  Some of the acts included the The Bee Gee's tribute band and boy did they rock.  They played all the fave and sounded fantastic.  Kate Ceberano, The Whitlams,  Katie Noonan and many more bands.
