SOS - Gpsy getting BLACK SCREEN when TURNED ON

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hi everyone,


Has anyone had PROBLEMS with their GYPSY????

This last month has been so FRUSTRATING when I go to turn on my gypsy. 

1 It comes on like it suppose too
2 I'm lucky if I manage to go through the rebooting for it to work
3 I get BLACK SCREEN OF DEATH

I've been trying to go through the Cricut Sync and redo the whole thing and my gypsy is not able to link up!!!!

I've read that if I have to buy a NEW GYPSY I'd need to send it to the States for PC to have my original gypsy serial no put on so I can link all my cartridges back on...  :/ 



DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS PROBLEM???

It's Monday evening, the chooks cooking, salad's made and I have time to do a few more challenges...  I thought I'd get ahead of myself this year and make birthday cards for all the birthdays coming up.
I'm entering this one over at http://waltzingmousesketchchallenge.blogspot.com.au/   for their sketch challenge 84.  I find just cutting out the shapes in a dark colour very effective when using light backgrounds and so much easier.

Christmas is gone for another year...  Hope everyone enjoyed the day celebrating with loved ones and catching up with friends and family.

For the challenge #78 over at http://waltzingmousesketchchallenge.blogspot.com/  I decided to make a card using  the Quater Note and George and Basic shapes cartridges, very old Hampton Arts music stamp, even older star punch, K-ology stickers TO GO, left over scrap from the My mind's Eye - Summer Song stack, Memento black ink and SU cardstock, dazzling diamonds, ds paper.  I used dimensional tape to give the sax player a bit of a lift too.
